Our History

DYSA’s origins go back to the year 1955, when engineer Eduardo Antonio Llano Domecq finished his studies in chemical engineering in Santa Fe, Argentina.

He immediately began a career as a key technician in sizable industrial plants for multinational companies with the highest requirements for quality and industrial security.

Finally, in 1985, having dedicated his professional career to managing high complexity equipment and plants with elevated requirements, he begins a new initiative of promoting new technologies to our nation’s hospitals, founding Distribuidora Ypacarai S.A., becoming a pioneer in integrating technology and health care in Paraguay.

At that time Mrs. Florencia Llano de Hellmers and Mr. Ricardo Hellmers partnered with engineer Eduardo Llano to move forward with the new enterpreneurship.

From the beginning it was clear that the country’s medical and hospital sector needed an ally for its development who could provide tools and knowledge. As time went by, DYSA’s leaders uncovered the extent of the challenge: it was necessary for DYSA to become a leading company in the health care sector in Paraguay.

To achieve this goal, they set out to build an enterprise vision and a culture of tenacious service and professionalism. Their constant efforts throghout many years led DYSA to consolidate itself as the number one company in the health care technology sector.
